Good Clean Tech

The guys over at Memorex have decided to help and do their share to make technology a little bit greener.

They have launched their latest line of computer hardware called ‘ReNew’ that comes packaged in recycled cardboard and some of the products also contains recycled plastic and they limit the use of Mercury and lead in this line of products.

The Product line launch has everything from MP3 players to boombox to an alarm clock - to keep you green and on time.

Proceeds from the sales of this greener line of products will go to the planting of 75,000 trees in national forrests.  How much of the proceeds and if only American national forrests are targeted the press release does not state.

To find out more about this eco-friendly step in the right direction check out Good Clean Tech.
